Steps to Success Internship Program reduces number of individuals on State public assistance by providing interns to participating businesses in exchange for on the job training, skill building, supervision and performance evaluation. Internships are performed on site at KOIN-TV, a division of Emmis Communications, located in Portland, Oregon

Began Sept 13, 2004-ongoing

 

This year's Steps to Success intern will complete a four month internship in the news department working with the associate producers and gaining hands on experience as an associate producer.

2 Uof O students completed a successful internship learning the position of associate producer during a course of 3 months.
