Steps to Success Internship Program reduces number of individuals on State public assistance by providing interns to participating businesses in exchange for on the job training, skill building, supervision and performance evaluation. Internships are performed on site at KOIN-TV, a division of Emmis Communications, located in Portland, Oregon

Began 2/01/2005program is on-going

 

This year's Steps to Success intern successfully completed a four month internship in our news department working with the associate producers and gaining hands on experience as news writer

This year’s U of W intern successfully completed a 3 month internship in the news department working with the associate producers, reporters and photographers, gaining hands on experience in the areas of producing and reporting.
