Contrasts Baths

For Hands or Feet:

Use two deep pans, buckets, or the kitchen sink filled ¾ full of water. Place cold water (55-65 degrees F) in one container and warm water (100-105 degrees F) in the other. If necessary, use a thermometer to determine water temperature.

Place the body part to be treated in the warm water for 5 minutes, then in the cold water for 5 minutes. Repeat the procedure 3 times in each, using the same method.

HOT - 5 minutes

COLD - 5 minutes

Remember: Always BEGIN with the WARM water and END with the COLD water.
