There are a lot of theories on how to get the most out of your gas mileage. Edmunds put some of the popular myths to the test.  CNN Money also exposes popular myths for saving gas that just don't work.

Portland Gas Prices provides constantly updated prices on gas around the Portland area. And AAA of Oregon/Idaho keeps track of current average gas prices throughout Oregon, and compares them with national and regional averages.

The Federation Trade Commission's online guide lets you click on parts of a car to see what you can do to them to save money on gas.

The U.S. Dept. of Energy has a wealth of information, from tips on saving gas to looks at alternative fuel sources and the cars that run on them.
