2018 Waterfront Blues Fest lineup coming March 8

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- New year. New producers. New logo. Same great music festival.

For the 31st consecutive year, the Waterfront Blues Festival will fill Tom McCall Waterfront Park with 4 days of world class blues music. The initial lineup will be announced March 8, with early bird festival passes on sale beginning March 15.

The 2018 Festival, set for July 4 through July 7 at Tom McCall Waterfront Park, will be managed by Waterfront Blues Production and Fuller Events.

As always, the Oregon Food Bank is the beneficiary of the festival's proceeds.

Since 1988, the Oregon Food Bank has produced the festival, which is a fundraiser for the food bank. Over the years, more than $10 million has been raised and 20 million pounds of food. But food bank officials decided now was the time to step back as producers and concentrate on their mission of eliminating hunger.
