CORBETT, Ore. (KOIN) -- Drivers said slick conditions caused a 15-car pileup on westbound I-84 as travelers returned from a Memorial Day weekend.
The crash near Corbett and Rooster Rock State Park happened just after 4 p.m. The cars involved suffered quite a bit of damage and it caused a major traffic delay.
One family involved in the crash said the road was busy and everyone stopped suddenly.
"We were OK on our car," said Paula Trent. "The car that hit us, they're OK. So that's the important thing."
One person was taken to the hospital for treatment, but that person's condition is not known at this time.
