MAX Red Line adds later runs to-from PDX

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- If you need to get to and from PDX, you can count on taking the MAX Red Line later than before.

Beginning March 4, TriMet said the MAX Red Line service will run later between Beaverton and the airport. The last train from Beaverton will now leave about a half-hour later than previously, at 10:41 p.m.

Coming back from PDX, the last train from the airport to Hillsboro will now leave at 12:18 a.m.

TriMet also added new nighttime trips from the Rose Quarter Transit Center to PDX and from PDX to the Gateway Transit Center and Gresham.

  • Rose Quarter TC to PDX leaves at 11:33 p.m., 12:08 a.m. and 12:40 a.m.
  • PDX to Gateway TC, continuing to Ruby Junction/E 197th Avenue, leaves at 12:24 a.m., 12:56 a.m. and 1:24 a.m.

TriMet also recently added new bus lines and extra runs on some existing routes.
