BORING, Ore. (KOIN) --- A man was taken to a hospital for medical and mental evaluation after police said he intentionally rammed his motorhome into a Boring bar.
The Timber Tavern had just closed around 2 a.m. when Clackamas County deputies were called to the bar at 28052 SE Highway 212.
When they arrived they saw the motorhome crashed into the bar and a man walking around outside the vehicle. Deputies said in a release they noticed the man, Larry Dale Karasch, had self-inflicted wounds on his arms.
No one was injured in this incident.
Karasch was cited, deputies said.
A 29-year-old man was arrested after crashing his pickup truck into the Columbia River, then swimming away before authorities arrived.
