SANDY, Ore. (KOIN) -- One person died and three others injured when trusses fell over during an installation at a residential construction project in Sandy.
The accident happened around 2:40 p.m. Friday at the site, 45440 SE Jadrny Road. Authorities said workers from Stalcup Roofing and Construction were installing trusses at the project when 13 of them fell over.
One construction worker died at the scene. Another was airlifted and two more were taken by ambulance to area hospitals. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The investigation into the accident continues and now includes OSHA.
