Cole Miller and KOIN 6 News Staff - PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Portland Fire and Rescue crews knocked down a house fire in Southeast Portland Monday night.
Officials said the fire started in the garage and was starting to spread to the house when crews arrived to the house on SE 88th and Pardee.
Crews got the fire under control in minutes but had to cut holes in the roof to vent the smoke. Most of the damage was contained to the garage and parts of the kitchen. A car parked in the garaged was damaged.
Everyone managed to get out of the house and no one was injured.
