Thirty-five-year-old Jacob Godfrey of Falls City was traveling west on Highway 223 when his 2003 Yamaha motorcycle went off the road and crashed into a tree sometime late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers are unsure exactly when the crash occurred.
