(KOIN) – Police have located the parents of a young girl who was found wandering in Canby early Tuesday morning.
At 6 a.m. the approximately 10-year-old girl was discovered in the area of Southwest 14th Court and South Fir Street. She was unable to communicate with emergency responders and may be autistic, Canby police said.
A little before 7:30 a.m., police successfully located the girl's parents.
Police are still trying to piece together the circumstances of the incident.
The attack occurred in St. Johns. A passenger punched the driver after being confronted about not paying the full fare.
