Man uses fake ID, stolen name to get $25K from bank

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A man obtained $25,000 from a U.S. Bank in Milwaukie in December by using a fake ID and a stolen name, according to Clackamas County deputies. 

The suspect, caught on surveillance and described by deputies as an African-American man in his mid-20s to mid-30s, received 5 checks from the bank valued at $5,000 each. Deputies said the illegal transaction happened around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 20, at the bank located at 14840 Southeast Webster Road.
