PPB patrol vehicle, ambulance collide in Downtown

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Two Portland Police officers were sent to the hospital after their patrol car was involved in a crash with a Multnomah County Ambulance vehicle. 

The crash happened on Northwest Park Avenue and West Burnside Street. The two injured officers are being treated for what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries, a Portland Police said. 

There were no reports of injuries to anyone in the ambulance and police believe there was no patient inside the ambulance at the time of the crash. 

It's not known what caused the collision. 

Portland Police said the Traffic Division is investigating.
