Docs: Teen girl met 'sugar daddy' online before shooting him

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A 15-year-old girl was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Vancouver for allegedly shooting a man in the Sexton Mountain neighborhood Friday after meeting him on a dating website.

The 56-year-old man was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound after he was attacked in his home in the 8600 block of SW Muledeer Drive in Beaverton. He was in stable condition as of Saturday afternoon.

Officials said he was able to describe his attacker as an Asian woman in her 20s with long, dark hair, before he went into surgery.

The suspect was later identified as Raelyn G. Domingo of Vancouver.

The victim, who's married, told police he met the suspect on a dating website -- "Seeking Arrangement," which is meant for "sugar babies" and "sugar daddies."  The victim said he only knew her by the name "Samantha" and that they had exchanged text messages, but never met before Friday when he picked her up at a Chevron.

When the two got back to the victim's house, according to court documents, they hung out in his music room where they smoked from his vape pen. The victim reportedly gave Domingo $260 after she asked for money.

Then, the affidavit states Domingo went to the bathroom and shot the man in the stomach as she emerged. Court documents state that the victim was fully clothed and sitting at a computer desk when he was shot. According to the victim, she demanded more money, but eventually left after he told her he already gave her all of his money.

"People always say you they don't think it would happen in your neighborhood and then it does," neighbor Shanan Gardiner said. "Certain choices were made that invited this into the neighborhood and that is the part I think people are most frustrated with now."

Washington County investigators were able to identify Domingo as the shooting suspect after Camas police said she was also a suspect in an unrelated robbery early Saturday morning -- just hours after Friday's shooting.

Camas police said they received a report of a robbery at a private home in the 3900 block of NE Tacoma Ct. at 2:30 a.m. Three masked gunmen and a female entered the home and demanded money from the two victims inside. A gun was fired, but didn't injure anyone. However, one of the victims was physically assaulted.

The victims were able to identify their attackers from previous encounters and social media.

Police found the suspects during a traffic stop on Wednesday in the suspect vehicle and four people were arrested: 19-year-old Jamil R. Timpke, 20-year-old Evan B. Barajas and two juvenile females. A fifth suspect, 20-year-old Keonte D. Scott, was already in custody.

Deputy Jeff Talbot with the Washington County Sheriff's office, confirmed that one of the females arrested for the Camas burglary was Domingo.

"We are just happy that this person, who made some really bad decisions in a 24 hour period, is off the street," Talbot said.

Domingo is being held at the Clark County Juvenile Justice Center on a Washington County arrest warrant for 1st-degree robbery and 1st-degree assault, both Measure 11 charges. Camas police investigators have charged her with robbery.

Oregon will seek her extradition from Washington.
