Man, 19, seriously injured in NE Portland shooting

The victim had serious, but not life-threatening injuries

KOIN 6 News Staff - PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A 19-year-old suffered serious, but not life-threatening, injuries from a shooting in Northeast Portland on Friday night, according to Portland Police.

There is no information on a possible suspect.

Police said they responded to multiple reports of gunfire on Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Morgan Street at 6:45 p.m. They found evidence of gunfire at the crime scene and later learned the victim had been taken by private car to a local hospital.

Police said the Gang Enforcement Team is conducting an investigation.
