PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) –One person died and another injured when two cars collided in Southeast Portland Friday evening.
Just after 8 p.m., the cars collided at Southeast 10th and Madison Street.
A Car2Go driven by Brian Setzler hit a Honda Civic with three people inside. The crash pushed the Civic into a large utility pole.
The Civic's back seat passenger, Michael Dominguez, died in the crash. He was 33.
The others in the Civic were treated at the hospital for injuries described as not life-threatening.
Neither driver had been drinking, police said.
The intersection was closed for several hours while the Traffic Division's Major Crash Team conducted an investigation.
