PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- The body of a missing fisherman was found Saturday on Social Security Beach in Fort Stevens State Park.
Fifty-two-year-old Bret Allen Yates was reported missing Wednesday morning after his wife hadn't heard from his since 9:46 p.m. Tuesday. He was fishing near the Clatstop Spit.
Crews from the US Coast Guard and state and local agencies searched for the man along miles of the Columbia River South Jetty. However, the search was later suspended.
