PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A 40,000 pound crane counterweight fell off a truck on southbound I-5 near the Rose Quarter, closing that section of the highway for about an hour.
At this time, there is no information on how the counterweight fell off the truck.
The crane was cleared and traffic resumed normally around 1:45 p.m.
