GRESHAM, Ore. (KOIN) -- A fender bender hit-and-run ended up with the driver of the car that stayed at the scene being arrested and his passenger taken to the hospital with a blood alcohol level that was nearly six times the legal limit.
The accident happened in the early hours of Saturday near SW Riverview and Birdsdale. Two groups of people left a party together and got into the minor accident.
Tempers flared, and one driver left the scene.
The other driver stayed behind and was arrested for DUII. His passenger was taken to a hospital because he was dangerously intoxicated with a BAC of .47.
Neither man is willing to tell police who the other driver was.
