PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A 63-year-old man is under arrest on accusations he sexually assaulted two women in downtown Portland.
Ladell Hill was taken into custody Friday morning on charges of first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy.
According to Portland police, at about 6 a.m. officers responded to a reported sexual assault in which a 22-year-old victim had locked herself in a Portland Loo at Southwest Park Avenue and Columbia Street.
Officers took the alleged victim to a hospital for treatment. During the investigation, Sex Crimes Unit detectives identified Hill as the suspect. They also determined that Hill was responsible for sexually assaulting a 27-year-old woman three weeks prior in the 100 block of Southwest 6th Avenue.
Both the victims and Hill were homeless, Portland police said.
Hill is lodged in the Multnomah County Jail. He will be arraigned Monday.
