PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) --- Officers detained three people after serving a search warrant at a North Portland home Wednesday morning.
At about 5 a.m., officers with the Portland police Gun Task Force and Gang Enforcement Team executed the warrant at a home on the 7000 block of North Omaha Avenue.
Sgt. Cathy Kent, Gun Task Force supervisor, would not provide details on the nature of the investigation, but said it involved felons and weapons. Investigators also collected evidence from the scene.
The three detainees have criminal records, Kent said. They were renting a room at the home.
According to Kent, officers plan to question the detainees before submitting a case to the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office for possible criminal charges.
