Police arrest Lebanon man, 31, for child porn

KOIN 6 News Staff - LINN COUNTY, Ore. (KOIN) -- Police arrested a 31-year-old man in Lebanon Tuesday afternoon for allegedly using the internet to access child pornography.

The Linn County Sheriff's Office served a child exploitation search warrant at a residence on Sand Ridge Court after an extensive investigation into the online distribution of child pornography through the internet.

Detectives served the search warrant when Andrew Duncan Irving arrived home from work. During the interview, detectives said Irving admitted to searching the internet for child pornography and downloading its contents.

Irving was arrested and transported to the Linn County Jail. He was charged with one count of encouraging child sexual abuse. More charges could be added following an examination of the devices seized during the search.
