VANCOUVER, Wash. (KOIN) –- A man and woman found dead in their Vancouver home earlier this week died in a murder-suicide.
The Clark County Medical Examiner's Office reported Friday that autopsies determined that 51-year-old Robert G. Hedgers shot and killed 57-year-old Cheryl Honey before killing himself.
Honey sustained gunshot wounds to the chest and left arm. Hedgers died of a gunshot wound to the chest.
The two were found Wednesday evening at their home on Northeast 135th Avenue.
According to The Columbian Newspaper, the two had gotten engaged March 29. Their wedding was scheduled to take place July 6.
