HAZELL DELL, Wash. (KOIN) -- A pipe bomb was found and detonated by authorities in a Clark County park Monday evening before anyone was hurt.
Authorities told KOIN 6 News the device was found at Crown Continental Park in the early evening, and that someone tried to light it. But the fuse did not work and the device did not explode.
Someone noticed the pipe bomb and called police, who went to the park in the 100 block of NE 105th and detonated it.
No arrests have been made and the investigation continues.
