(KOIN) – Troopers are looking for the driver of a vehicle that collided into a truck and trailer off Interstate 5 near Woodland, Wash., and then struck a BMW before fleeing Thursday morning.
Washington State Patrol (WSP) reports that a witness snapped a photo of the suspect vehicle, a black-colored Ford-F-150, before it left the scene of the crash, which occurred sometime before 8:30 a.m.
Witnesses said the truck was driving aggressively on I-5 southbound, between Woodland and La Center, when it ran a truck-and-trailer off the roadway, causing it to flip. It then hit the rear quarter-panel of a black-colored BMW.
A passenger in the truck-and-trailer was transported to a nearby hospital with undisclosed injuries, WSP said.
The F-150 likely has severe damage to the passenger side, and a mirror was also left at the scene. Anyone with information on the suspect vehicle should contact WSP at 360-449-7999.
