SWEET HOME, Ore. (KOIN) -- A 20-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted and held against her will for an entire weekend until she was able to escape while the suspect slept.
Daniel Fred Schroeder is being sought by the Linn County Sheriff's Office after the victim told authorities about the incident.
She said she went to Schroeder's home on Friday. He then allegedly physically assaulted her and wouldn't let her leave. She escaped Sunday morning while he slept.
Deputies searched his house and did not find him. There is no reason to believe Schroeder, 54, is armed or dangerous, authorities said.
