EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Those trend-setting Oregon Ducks are now passing on some fashion tips to their fans.
Known for their seemingly endless uniform combinations with accessories such as liquid metal helmets and blur cleats, the Ducks have issued a primer for appropriate game-day attire.
Heading to Autzen Stadium for the season opener against Nicholls State on Aug. 31? You'll want to wear white. Hitting the road for the game at Stanford on Nov. 7? Yellow is your color.
To help out local fans who might not have the list committed to memory, Oregon will fly a flag at Autzen in each designated color during the week before the game.
Of course the Ducks aren't all style without substance. Oregon, which finished 12-1 last season, was picked Friday to finish atop the Pac-12 this season.
