25 Things you don’t know about Carly Kennelly

After working behind the camera at WFAA in Dallas, Carly made her first on-air appearance in Bryan/College Station, Texas. She worked as a general assignments reporter at the CBS affiliate, KBTX. While there she did stories on flooding, Texas A&M University, and former President George H. Bush since that’s the location of his presidential library. From the Lonestar State, Carly moved to Kennewick, Washington before ending up in Portland. She reported, produced and anchored the weekend news at KVEW. Working in the Tri-Cities meant Carly often found herself reporting on the Hanford Nuclear Site in Richland and the Umatilla Chemical Weapons Depot in Umatilla, Ore.

Outside of work, Carly has several other passions that keep her busy. She spends a good portion of each day training clients at several gyms in the Portland metro area. It wasn’t until she lost 40 pounds in 6 months that she decided to earn a personal trainer certification and help others fight the same battle. Carly also loves to spend time with her family and dogs. She is a member of the Columbia Agility Team and competes with her Pomeranian in agility, rally, and obedience.
