County assembles behavioral health team for survivors of gun violence

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Multnomah County Behavioral Health Division has created a new program to respond to the rise in gun violence across the metro area.

The Gun Violence Behavioral Health Response Team is designed to address families affected by gun violence.

Julie Dodge, MCBHD interim director, joined AM Extra Wednesday to explain more about the program.
