PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The new school year kicks off in just a few weeks — and the top priority for many parents is the health and safety of their kiddos.

Although some kids are not allowed to get vaccinated just yet, there are steps parents can take right now to keep them safe and boost their immune systems. Dr. Corey Fish, the chief medical officer with Brave Care, joined AM Extra with some tips before you send the kids off to class.
