Nat’l Pinot Noir Day: Vineyard explains history behind the red wine

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Since this state grows world-class Pinot Noir grapes, AM Extra celebrated National Pinot Noir Day Wednesday with a special guest appearance from a vineyard who put Oregon on winemakers’ maps.

Jason Lett, president of the Eyrie Vineyards, joined the show to explain the history behind the red wine variety and how it got its roots here.
