Pandemic sees spike in demand for birth control

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Medication provider Nurx reported it has seen a stunning 50% spike in birth control requests since March.

Health experts say more and more women are ordering online or through the Nurx app to get prescriptions delivered right to their doors.

The company’s Assistant Director of Clinical Services Julie Graves joined AM Extra Monday to talk about the growing demand.
