PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN 6) — A local woman was sentenced to 20 days in jail after she changed her plea and admitted to having sex with an underage Boy Scout, officials said.

Elizabeth Monda-Guthrie, 28, worked for a Boy Scout program in Marion County, court documents revealed. She pleaded guilty to sex abuse charges Monday after originally pleading not guilty to engaging in sexual activity with a 16-year-old in October.

Monda-Guthrie and the 16-year-old reportedly met at Butte Creek Scout Camp in Marion County, according to court documents.

The teen told police he and Monda-Guthrie “agreed mutually to keep things a secret” and that they had sex every couple of days beginning August 14. They engaged in sexual activities at the camp and once at the teenager’s house on the property.

Monda-Guthrie will be required to register as a sex-offender.
