Magic Wheelchair helps kids celebrate Halloween

The local non-profit is looking for donations to help more kids

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Local non-profit, Magic Wheelchair, is helping children who use wheelchairs get in the Halloween spirit this year. They created a completely original costume for Jasmin—a creation straight out of the movie “Aliens.”

“They bring together builders and families of children that are in wheelchairs, and they put on these special cosplays for them,” said Kyle Paradis, owner of County Scare Grounds. “They always do a big reveal at some big event—comicon or something. It’s just a really great thing that they do.”

The non-profit is looking for donations to help other children in the area. You can learn more about the organization on their website.
