We all take interesting paths to get to our destination.
After graduating from Cornell University, Nancy Richardson Fischer went to work writing for the circus. When she was done crafting stories about elephants and performers, she moved on to LucasFilm.
From there she landed gig writing famed gymnastics coach Bela Karolyi, which led to many other sports autobiographies including working with Apolo Anton Ohno and Nadia Comaneci.
These days, Nancy is crafting young adult novels. Her newest, “The Speed of Falling Objects,” will be released on Oct. 1.
