PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Clackamas County woman is accused of skipping out on a nearly $2500 bill for Botox and other cosmetic procedures.
Treasa Hansen went to Evolve Aesthetics in Southeast Portland about 2 weeks ago for the procedures. But when she went to the front to pay, she allegedly told workers she didn’t feel well and needed to use the restroom.
When employees went to check on her a few minutes later, she was gone, officials said.
“I went to the restroom to check on her to check if she was OK and she was not in the restroom,” said cosmetic injector Samantha Adams-Pierce. “I thought she was doing her makeup. We were giving her the benefit of the doubt.”
“They knew who this person was,” said Clackamas County Sgt. Marcus Mendoza. “She tried to conceal part of her identity by lying where she lived but we were able to track her down.”
An employee at the medical spa filed a report with the sheriff’s office and Hansen was arrested a few days later. She’s being charged with a felony for theft of services.
“She needs to pay for her crime. It’s a crime, it’s theft of services,” Adams-Pierce said. “It affects a lot of people.”
