PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The shooting in Amboy that left two men on Saturday night was determined to be a murder-suicide.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office said they responded to a shooting at 24707 NE 419th Street around 7 pm. When they arrived, they found two men dead from gunshot wounds.
Authorities later identified the men as 84-year-old Vernon W. Snider and 56-year-old Robert E. Rowland.
According to the medical examiner’s office, Rowland died from a self-inflicted injury and Snider died from multiple gunshot wounds to the head. Snider’s death was ruled a homicide.
