Police: Armed, wanted felon arrested at Battle Ground home

SWAT, police and deputies responded to a home on SW 12th Street

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — An armed and wanted felon was arrested at a home in Battle Ground on Thursday, police said.

Battle Ground police, deputies with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and a regional SWAT team responded to the home in the 200 block of Southwest 12th Street. A 911 caller reported a man was inside, trashing the house.

Police said the man had guns and was a risk to family members.

A SWAT unit arrested the man, identified as 42-year-old Lynn Manley Cargile of Battle Ground, at around 3 p.m. Police said he had an active arrest warrant out of Oregon for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

He was booked into the Clark County Jail on charges of domestic violence, unlawful imprisonment, 2nd-degree malicious mischief and 11 counts of unlawful possession of a firearm.
