PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A house fire burned through much of a family’s home and spread to a pickup truck and an RV parked outside Friday afternoon, said Clark County Fire District 6.

Flames were shooting out from the garage when crews arrived at the Vancouver home. Despite knocking down the blaze within 20 minutes, firefighters said most of the inside of the home was destroyed.

One resident was left with a minor injury, but no one else was injured from the house fire. A large family was displaced as a result. CCDF6 said they will be staying with relatives, and that assistance from the Red Cross was not needed.

A Clark County Fire Marshall’s Office investigator will be looking into the cause of the fire.
