Free ‘drive-through’ paper shredding Saturday in Keizer

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Oregon State Credit Union is offering free and secure paper shredding this weekend in Keizer.

The public is invited to drop off up to 3 boxes per person for shredding to Volcanoes Stadium at 6700 Field of Dreams Way NE from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Members of the Keizer Police Department will be available to help and educate the public about how to prevent identity theft.

The Marion-Polk Food Share will also be there to accept food and cash donations.

Items that can be shredded include old checks, outdated sensitive paperwork like tax forms, bank statements, bills, pay stubs, etc.
