PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A missing service dog has been returned to its owner.

Larry Capri says his German Shepherd, Xena, got lost next to an open field next to the Oak Grove Methodist Church on SE Rupert Drive just after midnight on Friday, June 28.

The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office says a man called them on Saturday night after finding the dog. Deputies picked up the dog and took her back to Capri, who was very happy to see her.
