PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A large disturbance Wednesday night in Northeast Portland warranted a swift police response, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
Officers responded to reports that roughly 60 people were involved in a fight that broke out around 7:30 p.m. near Northeast 8th Avenue and Northeast Couch Street, police said.
There were also reports that someone may have used mace and that another person was unconscious.
However, when officers got the scene, they said the two groups who were involved had already separated. and they didn’t find anyone unconscious in the area. No one was willing to make a police report or identify as a victim.
