Hillary, Chelsea to bring ‘Gutsy Women’ to Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Hillary Rodham Clinton and Chelsea Clinton will be coming to Portland in October for a talk on their first co-authored book.

Titled The Book of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience, it features a collection of stories centered around women who have inspired the mother-daughter duo, with the message that anyone can make a difference in the world.

The Clintons will be joined at the talk by fellow author Cheryl Strayed, known for her memoir, Wild.

The discussion, hosted by Powell’s Books, will be held at Revolution Hall on SE Stark Street. The event starts at 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2019.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 25 at the Revolution Hall website.
