PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Police are searching for the suspect who they said robbed a market in Southeast Portland Tuesday morning.
Officers responded to KS Market — located at 15231 SE Division St. — on the report of an armed robbery. The 911 caller told police that the suspect displayed a handgun while demanding money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect left the market without incident.
The employee who was robbed told KOIN 6 News he gave the suspect the money after he displayed a gun because he didn’t want the suspect to hurt him.
