PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Gresham Police officers evacuated a Jack in the Box after a man barricaded himself inside with an ax.

Authorities said they took the man into custody in the 25600 block of SE Stark Street just before 10:30 p.m.

The roads surrounding the restaurant were temporarily closed.
