PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Firefighters pulled a pedestrian from under a car after the person was hit and trapped on Southeast Division Street Monday evening.
The collision involved a small sedan just before 6 p.m. on SE Division at SE 101st Street. Portland Police said the crash left the pedestrian with serious injuries.
The area was closed to traffic for over an hour as firefighters rescued the pedestrian from under the car. Roads were reopened to traffic after the car involved was towed from the scene around 7:30 p.m.
The driver remained at the scene.
