1 possible gunshot victim in SE Portland

136th Street north of Powell is now open

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — There was police activity and reports of shots and yelling in the 3200 block of Southeast 136th Avenue on Wednesday morning.

Police have surrounded a house near 136th Street and Powell Boulevard, searched for potential victims and conducted a welfare check. They’ve found blood and bullet casings but no one was found at the house.

Shortly after police responded to the call, a man showed up to a nearby hospital with multiple gunshot wounds to his leg. The extent of his injuries and whether he is connected to this reported shooting is still unknown.

136th Street north of Powell was closed earlier in the morning but is currently opening back up.
