PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Portland Police officers and the non-profit organization SOLVE are working to improve Holladay Park.
PPB North Precinct officers hosted a community gathering Wednesday at the Northeast Portland park to unveil a safety plan. Neighbors have raised concerns about crime in the park.
SOLVE is also working with the city by hosting regular cleanups at Holladay Park.
Kris Carico, the CEO of SOLVE, said the group hosts cleanups about once a week all over the Lloyd District.
Mayor Ted Wheeler will join SOLVE for a Pick It Up Portland event at Holladay Park next week.
