PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man who sexually abused underage girls pleaded guilty in court Wednesday.

Antonio Fransisco Marquez, 41, was on active duty with the US Army when he was previously indicted on 107 counts of child sex crimes in December 2018. He was suspended when the investigation started. Marquez was also a parent volunteer at Troutdale Elementary School.

Marquez changed his plea and was convicted of 3 counts of 1st-degree sexual abuse, 3 counts of using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct, 3 counts of 2nd-degree encouraging child sexual abuse and 2 counts of 1st-degree sodomy.

With this plea, he admitted to subjecting 3 girls under age 12 to sexual contact, inappropriate touching, oral sex and made explicit recordings of them. Marquez knew the victims but they were not related to him.

The Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office said he is expected to receive a sanction of 40 years in prison at sentencing in February.
